Seres Therapeutics is working to revolutionize treatment of a wide range of diseases by modulating the function of the human microbiome. Their visionary team has been at the forefront of microbiome therapeutics for over a decade. Their innovative research has lead to the first FDA-approved, orally administered microbiota-based therapeutic indicated to prevent the recurrence of Clostridioides difficile infection (CDI) in individuals 18 years of age and older following antibacterial treatment for recurrent CDI (rCDI).
Seres also has other programs in their pipeline working towards harnessing the power of the human microbiome to treat antimicrobial-resistant infections and ulcerative colitis, as well as therapeutics to improve the response and tolerability of cancer treatments.
